I engaged 24 year old pencil artist Phyllis Wanja, who recently graduated from Moi University who together with a team runs Afyakili that offers art therapy to facilitate better mental health for an interview for a digital publication.
She was a participant in the YALI program, cohort 30 that was held at the Kenyatta University with brilliant minds from other countries in East and Central Africa who are positively contributing to society.
I particularly enjoyed taking these portraits of her to be used as the feature image for the publication.
