Hi there, I am glad to have you here.
I am Daisy, from Kenya, a civil engineer by profession, a ferocious reader and writer by talent.

I began writing poetry at the age of 14, and while I was in university some friends and I formed the Jkuat Poetry Club in order to explore our creative side in the technical university. The club ran from 2012-2015. In July 2016, I started running this platform as a creative outlet in order to share with others my findings on life, work/career and other relevant matters.
A little more
I believe that education is instrumental in alleviating poverty in Kenya and in Africa as a whole. Through my education, I was given the gift of a better life, and I would like to transmit the same to others. For this reason, starting in January 2019, I give a percentage of the proceeds I receive from the freelance services I give below. My hope is to create a fund that can enable the building and improving/stocking of existing libraries in public high schools to enable the younger generation to read more, and hopefully change their lives.
I am available to speak in high schools to share with the younger generation life, work and study skills that have been useful to me. I am also available to speak in events that involve women in STEM in order to share my experience as an engineering student and a lady in the male-dominated field.
